This one has a built in battery to hold all that solar energy it soaks up all day, and it must soak up a lot because it stays on all night. It actually has an on/off switch but I just turned it 'on' when I got it a few days ago and it's been on since. Nice color, sturdy metal construction, easy to assemble and the solar powered light stays bright from 4:30 PM until I take the dog out at 6 AM, probably longer.. At night in the dark it just looks like a clump of white lights. I like it, it's a a nice lawn decoration for the price.
